"This just in," the reporter on the local news station read as they interrupted the regularly scheduled programming for a special news bulletin, "There are reports of Akuma activity in the central region of Paris. We go live to Pierre, who is on the scene. Pierre?"
There was a break for a brief second as the feed from Pierre on the scene was uploaded to the station newsroom. A dark haired gentleman with blue eyes and a full handle bar mustache took a deep breath before launching into his report on the Akuma that was terrorizing the area and thwarting all attempts at being restrained. "This appears to be different from past Akuma attacks," Pierre remarked, ducking as a pink moped with purple polka dots sailed over his head. "Quick, Fritz, turn the camera to your left, seventy five degrees."
There was a blur as the cameraman spun around before focusing upon a male figure in a black jumpsuit. The figure paused, the wind blowing through his long brown ponytail, where streaks of black were evident. The figure turned his head and narrowed his eyes, the feral green shade very prominent against the black and purple mask worn around his eyes.
As the camera zoomed in on the figure's face, Spinner turned his head and spat a mouthful of cola on the floor. "LEX?!" he exclaimed in surprise before he began coughing.
"Nanda kurewa?!" Suki added as she thumped the hacker on the back in an attempt to help him clear what was causing him to choke. "Spinner-san, what is Lex doing in a bad sci-fi movie?"
"That's no movie," Agura said as she checked the channel listing, "That's a live news feed."
"Better question, love, is what is an Akuma?" Stanford asked.
"Demon," Suki replied, "An Akuma is a demon."
"So Lex is possessed by a demon of some sort?" Spinner sputtered.
A crashing sound alerted them to the inopportune entrance of Tezz, who had dropped an armload of packages when he saw his husband on the television. "Bohze moi," was all he uttered before dashing off, presumably to find and restrain Lex.
Agura and Stanford left the room a moment later at a run, both thinking that if the shizz hit the fan Tezz would require some backup.
