How Not To Write an Estimated Ship Time....

(A Love Story)

She gazed longingly into his eyes, her breath coming in short gasps. "How long does it take?" she asked hesitantly as he pulled her into his embrace. "How long does it take to ship?"

"It usually ships within eight weeks," he replied, pausing to smell her hair. Was she using a new shampoo? He pondered the fruity aroma for a moment before continuing, "Many times it will ship sooner..."

"How much sooner?" she asked, her bosom heaving.

"Depending upon whether or not the designer has it in stock," he replied, his breath tickling her neck as he touched the back of her head. Kissing her neck, he continued. "Or if it has to be painted to order."

"Painted to order?" she gasped as he delivered a gentle bite to the spot where her neck met her shoulder. She felt him tense up, and she knew what he would say next.

"Your patience is greatly appreciated," he said as they melted together, two beings becoming one. Somewhere in the distance an owl hooted. The gentle breeze played through the tall grass outside their window.
